Distribution of human races

Dr. Heinrich Berghaus played a pivotal role in advancing modern thematic cartography with his Physikalischer Atlas. The anthropographic atlas section includes a map that differentiates six distinct races. A wreath of representative heads showcases various skin colors, facial features, and skull shapes associated with these six racial groups. Unfortunately, racism also finds its expression in European cartography.
