It was hard to miss in the national media on March 12 and 13: a Nipple Tent was erected in the hall of Design Museum Den Bosch. In this tent, artist Natasja Alers made plaster casts of the nipples of the museum’s visitors. Over 50 people volunteered their nipples to contribute to this unique project. Over the past months, Alers worked in the EKWC Ceramic Work Center to process these nipple casts into an impressive vase of more than a meter high. This Bossche Nipple Vase will be festively unveiled on July 2 at Design Museum Den Bosch.
